The Only Thing You Need to Do: Gas Reservation

Gas is different.

⚠️ Gas is not only for the kitchen.
In Japan, gas is usually used for hot water and showers.

Even if your stove is electric, you still need gas for hot water.

Important:

• You must make a reservation in advance. 

• Please tell us the time you would like to activate it, and we will make an appointment for you!

• Someone must be at home during the appointment.

• A technician will visit, explain safety instructions, and turn on the gas.

If you do not reserve in advance,
you may not have hot water for several days after moving in.

We strongly recommend booking:

• 1-2 days in advance (city gas)

• 3–5 days in advance (propane gas / LP gas)

⚠️ Some propane gas companies may require a refundable deposit (around ¥20,000).

Fees & Payment Methods

In most cases, there is no charge for activating water, electricity, or gas.

However, some propane (LP) gas companies may require a refundable deposit (around ¥20,000). This will be returned when you cancel the contract.

Utility fees are billed monthly based on actual usage.
Costs vary depending on season and usage.

Payment methods may include:

• Bank automatic withdrawal

• Credit card

• Convenience store payment slip

At the beginning, you may receive a paper bill by mail, so please check your mailbox and make sure to pay before the due date.
